Showered some more
This past weekend I was showered again! My sweet mother-in-law, sister-in-law and friend Julie who hosted a shower for our little one along with some ladies from our church. It was really more like a down pour than a shower in many respects. I was overwhelmed by the amount of women from our church who came, the amazing food, beautiful decorations and the amount of gifts we received . Our little one is already loved so dearly...even while in the womb. It really was such a blessing to spend time with so many precious ladies from my church. I really feel as though I have been welcomed into such a loving and supportive church family with so many women of all ages who have reached out to me and loved me as their sister in Christ. It was a beautiful shower with the most adorable and delicious cake! I am so grateful to my hostesses and church family for their prayers and support throughout our pregnancy journey. 6.5 weeks to go

Showered
A few weekends ago I was blessed to have my first shower. My dear friend Jessamie, her mother, and other sweet friends from Habersham hosted a lovely afternoon ice cream sundae shower . It is unbelievable to think the house I spent so many nights as a teenager is the one that I spent celebrating my first baby! And then to look over and see my bff from high school holding her baby girl is even stranger!
I can't believe that this little one is just 8 short weeks from making his/her debut...every day I feel more and more joy about the coming arrival . I am so grateful to the Lord for his rich blessings in my life and I loved being able to celebrate them with such precious friends!

Daytona Nights

Last weekend Josh and I went with my parents to Daytona for the Rolex 24 hour Race. I can honestly say I have never seen my husband so giddy with child-like wonder . The first few nights were spent at a friends condo near St.Augustine where we spent time touring around town and taking in the salty air. We then headed to Daytona to stay the weekend with my Dad's cousin Chris and his wife Dale.
Josh spent most of the weekend at the track with my Dad and Chris while I spent time hanging with the girls enjoying the weather in Winter Park. On Friday the boys got the thrill of their life by getting the chance to drive a "hot lap" around the track... at the end of the trip, Josh commented that the lap around the track could have ranked as the most adventurous thrill of his life...that is saying a lot for a guy like him...thankfully he managed to get through it without soiling his pants or throwing up in the car. We had a great time and got some much needed rest and relaxation.

Congrats Lil Sis!
We had such a fun time celebrating the engagement of my dear little sis and her brand new fiance. We are so thrilled to add another male into the Bluster family and what a sweet male he is! Mere and Rob got engaged at my grandparents cabin where Josh and I were married nearly 3 years ago. Afterwards, they were met by family and friends at my parents' where we celebrated with champagne and chili in sheer Bluster fashion. Love you guys!

Wedding in Joshua Tree
We had a lovely time traveling down the west coast in late December. Josh's dear friend from college Luke was getting married in Twentynine Palms, California
(part of Joshua Tree National Park) so we decided to make a trip of it. We flew into San Francisco, visited with some friends in Turlock, passed through Bakersfield, and then made the long and desolate drive to Twentynine Palms. Luke and Leah's wedding was small and beautiful and truly felt like an Anthropologie photo-shoot. We ended our time on the west coast by catching the Cirque du Soleil show Mystere at Treasure Island in Las Vegas. It was a brief trip but certainly a memorable one.
